With his latest Kaleidoscope Dreams album completed, Miguel may have another big project on deck. Beyoncé reached out to the rising R&B talent to work on her new material and he’s “ready to ride the wave.”
“I just got word that I’ll be in [the studio] with Beyoncé tomorrow which is amazing,” Miguel told MTV News on Friday (October 26). “I heard it from my team, and I was like, ‘Are you serious? Are you sure? Are we talking about the Beyoncé?’”

It was indeed Beyonce. And he was more than happy to hit the studio to work with the pop star.
“I don’t really know what she sees for herself or what direction she’d like to go with this album and I think that’s the exciting part about it,” he said. “You just ride the wave and see where it goes, so I’m really excited. “
Miguel said he was looking forward to the opportunity to build something unique with the R&B powerhouse.
“I’m excited to hear the direction of her new material, and hopefully come up with something that’s really special and really showcases her perspective.”
Beyonce has also reportedly been hard at work with Kanye West and Hit-Boy.
